When anyone goes to college to study engineering, they become engineers. But I have become a bird lover. More and more, I studied about the aerodynamics and mechanics of aircraft, and my curiosity about nature, specifically birds, has increased. If you don’t know, I went to college to become an Aeronautical Engineer (and have become one).
My friends and I designed this aircraft inspired by Dove’s Dive!
As soon as I graduated as an Aeronautical Engineer, I bought my DSLR to become a Bird Photographer. I went to Royal Roads University to study Business Management. Alongside my studies, I also enjoyed taking photos of the beautiful peacocks 🙂
Royal Roads University is home to a lot of peacocks! If you haven’t seen one, you must go again!
As a photographer with the determination to become a professional wildlife photographer one day, I consider bird sanctuaries are the places where I connect with myself deeply. After spending (on and off) 2 years in the coffee forests of India, Monica and I returned to Victoria in 2022. We had a tough time finding a place to call home – thanks to the crazy housing situation in Victoria. After all the struggle, we found a place. And that place is located right next to Victoria Harbour Migratory Bird Sanctuary!!! Can you believe it? I still can’t! And I enjoyed taking this photo of this majestic Bald Eagle from my house balcony using a 200mm lens.
